A few words about our founders and members...

Married, sorry ladies.  Have been making costumes since 1985 when I went trick or treating as Logan with aluminum foil claws and an Indiana Jones hat.   I have always been fascinated with costumes and how they are built, but my life led me to the Air Force where I became a firefighter and there found my passion, dressing up so no one would recognize me and helping everyone who needed it.  I have since left the military and become a professional firefighter and helped form Project Hero.  My family has always been a dog family.  I have a little girl now named after the man that makes everything better, David Bowie, love you Bobo’s.  Love anything Punisher, except that Frankencastle crap, and have always looked up to Captain America.  Obsessed with playing the part.  Runs a  prop and costume shop with his wife Debra, Frank and Nats Armory

Hello my lovies! I am an Eclectic, Athletic, Nerdy, Costuming, Coffee Mug Collecting, Harry Potter Fanatic, Happily Married, Fantasy Geek Girl and more. I love to travel, anywhere and everywhere. I am intrigued by other cultures and what I can learn from them. I try to go somewhere new every few years. I love mountains and forests, but anything outdoors suits me just fine. I do have a lazy side, however, and spend lots of my time parked on the couch watching the HGTV, Bravo, The History Channel, or Netflix and reading comic books.
I do enjoy sewing and crafting with my husband. We run Frank and Nat's Armory, a costume / prop shop that focuses on functional custom builds. My favorite costumes are the ones that come from my own imagination, so I really like personal all our work.
I play a lot of Left 4 Dead, am called a granola by friends, work the the 9-5 longer than 9-5, have a dog named Ms David Bowie, try to bake, pick up accents easily(please don't think I am making fun of you), and am as ever-changing as the seasons, so who knows what you will see me doing next.

Has always been a nerd. Like before it was cool. Growing up loving sci-fi, fantasy, comics, and doing theater in high school made the move into costuming an easy one. With his wonderful wife Jackie he has started a small prop and costume company, KnowOne's Designs, that he works on when he is not at his 9 to 5. When he is not doing either of those things he plays video games, hangs out with friends while playing video games, spends too much time on the internet, and eats delicious food. Oh and sleep. He does that a lot too.

Likes cats, like a lot, especially ones in bow ties. She has her B.S. from NAU in Secondary Art Education and works at a non-profit online university. She has grown up around art and all things creative with her Dad owning an art gallery and teaching her to draw at a young age. When she's not at her 9-5 she’s sewing and building props with Garrick for their company KnowOne's Designs or doing various things with Project Hero. She also likes to read, play video games, and has a slight obsession with bats, antlers, and painting things black.

Has a military background and currently works as a defense contractor.  He has been a member of some of the largest costuming organizations in the world for over a decade and has been creating props and costumes for longer.  He has a passion for comics, video games and martial arts movies, but not always in that order.

orn in the beautiful but rustic cornfields and woods of Ohio, but I have lived most of my life in the desert of Arizona. I graduated from Oberlin College in 2009 with my BA in Psychology and Pre-med, and I am currently working at PayPal to save up money to go back to school and get my Doctorate. Some of my earliest memories feature Batman, Godzilla, climbing things I probably shouldn't have climbed, and pretending I could fly. Strangely, my most cherished memories from my current day-to-day life don't seem to have changed all that much, besides the addition of appreciating naps more. I started my initial costuming relationship with the Renaissance Festival, which naturally led into more costumed pursuits at conventions and with Project Hero. I'm quirky and upbeat with a love for horseback riding, reading sci-fi and fantasy, drawing, movies, and breakfast food!
